ikaria (oh!)pera is a multidisciplinary opera project developed in collaboration
with gran teatre del liceu, ied barcelona, fabra i coats, and dhub – museu del
disseny de barcelona. during my practice (nov 2024 – aug 2025), i worked within
the scenography team under the direction of berta prieto, contributing to the
conceptual, technical, and material development of the stage design.
the scenography centers on a burned, polluted island — a metaphor for
destruction, human fragility, and the possibility of regeneration. my role
focused on concept development, 3d and physical modeling, material experimentation,
and on-site construction at the liceu.
